The Environmental Adventure Company began 10 years ago as a “mom & pop” operation. Founder Michael Sanders started the company to capitalize on his love of sharing his knowledge about special places with others. He wanted to offer people the opportunity to participate in adventures that incorporated his goals for rewarding and responsible travel. They are:

Working in conjunction with both local and national non-profit environmental groups, we have grown. We are pleased that we can now offer trips to a wide variety of special destinations, providing unique experiences and learning opportunities for our clients.

- We only travel in small groups. Our average group size is 9. This maximizes viewing and learning opportunities for each client, and also increases the “relaxing factor” of each trip. Our group maximum is 18.
- We provide friendly, knowledgeable guides, along with numerous presentations by local expert interpreters. We know that the best trips are ones where you increase your knowledge and appreciation of the fascinating world we live in.
- We don’t forget that a great trip includes comfortable accommodations. Our lodging selections are chosen on amenities and location.
- The quality of food exceeds expectations. We offer a healthy and delicious picnic lunch buffet. We also allow our guests to order directly from the menu in most situations.
